The Melanesian Martyrs' Memorial Church of St Andrews

Parish Profile

General

Our Vicar Stephen Baxter has been with us coming up 15 years.

We currently have 340 regular parishioners.  All of whom attend and are personally known by our Vicar.

We also service a wider nominal Anglican group within our community and our community at large.

We have parishioners who attend on a regular basis from the North Shore, i.e. 3 families, and others from West and South Auckland.

Parishioners come from a wide variety of backgrounds.

Over the past ten years our congregation has got noticeably younger.

We also have a number of younger people attending our parish groups who don’t attend on a Sunday.

We are fortunate to share a special relationship with the Church of Melanesia.
